This is a must to experience. The Nutcracker Village is a joy and the event keeps growing with vendors at the Advent Market, gifts at the Christmas Wonderland gift shop and the FREE hayrides and Holly Trolley rides. There is so much to see and experience that you must visit the Schedule of Events HERE! I wouldn't want you to miss a great time with your family.
What I love so much about the event is that it is local and so enjoyable - it's even easy to incorporate into the holiday season multiple times. I don't feel pressured to do all that is offered in one evening, but rather spread out the joy throughout the season. Stop by the Advent Market after dinner for a dessert or hot beverage, get the kids on the trolley to expel that extra energy!
Steubenville Lights Up the Night on Tuesday, Nov. 20 at 4-8 p.m. with the Advent Market open 3-8 p.m. Enjoy the Nutcrackers as hot dogs and treats will be available courtesy of the City of Steubenville Beautification Committee. Brenda Casey Dancers will perform at 5:30 p.m. and FIREWORKS will light the night sky at 6:30 p.m.
Regular Advent Market hours are Fridays 3-8 p.m.; Saturdays 1-8 p.m. and Sundays 1-6 p.m.
Sights and Sounds of Christmas: Nutcracker Magic Parade will be Saturday, Dec. 8 at noon. The Advent Market will open early this Saturday to accommodate all the parade patrons. The parade route runs through the heart of downtown beginning at North Street and traveling down 4th Street to reach its finale at South Street. Enjoy the many dancers, floats and Nutcracker-themed decorations and characters!
