An encounter with a reindeer might be in order for your young ones that just can't get enough in anticipation of the big day! The Oglebay Good Zoo offers an exciting opportunity to meet Santa's reindeer daily at 1, 2, 3 and 5 p.m.
Reservations are strongly encouraged, while walk-ins are available but not guaranteed. For those advance reservations, make a call to 304-243-0100 or online HERE. Dress for the weather when you visit and expect to have a great learning experience while feeding and petting these adorable and friendly reindeer located in an open barn near the zoo's main building. You'll love the experience just as much as your children! Lots of great photo ops as well!
Ages 3 and up. Price: $65 per two guests; $15 per additional guest up to 5 guests total (price includes zoo and laser show admission).
Sleigh Bell Cafe at the Good Zoo
Through Dec. 30, Oglebay's Good Zoo is offering daily seatings at 6 and 7:30 p.m. at the Sleigh Bell Cafe. At this special dining experience you'll meet Santa's flying friends and receive a special gift from the reindeer as well!
Menu features penne pasta and meatballs with your choice of red or white sauce served with salad and bread OR two beef or bean tacos served with rice and refried beans. All meals include dessert and your choice of iced tea, lemonade or water. Beer and wine are available for mom and dad at the cash bar.
Cost is $22.50 per person (children under 3 free) or $80 for a family of four.
Zoo admission half off with the purchase of Sleigh Bell Cafe Dining. Zoo admission must be added to reservation cost.
