Crossroads Christian Church in Wintersville is making sports sign ups easy for families with online registration. One and done: the form includes uniform sizes, registration information, evaluation times and contact info. Find it HERE.
Crossroads Christian Church offers the Upward Sports platform for incorporating Christian values into a sports environment so kids not only enjoy the experience but thrive in it. Volunteer coaching staff lead teams in skills and drills at practice, preparing the players for weekly games.
Register online for basketball and cheerleading or drop the form and fee at the church office located at 110 Springdale Avenue, Wintersville, Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Cost is $65 per child which includes a jersey or cheer top. Basketball shorts and cheerleading mock turtlenecks are optional at a cost of $15 each.
Mark your calendar for evaluations. Your child must attend one of the evaluation sessions at Crossroads. Evaluation dates are: K4 through ninth grade boys and girls on Thursday, Nov. 15 between 6-8 p.m. or Saturday, Nov. 17 between 9 a.m.-noon.
Practices begin Monday, Dec. 3 with the first game slated for Saturday, Jan. 5. Save the date for the annual Awards Celebration on Saturday, March 2 at the season's conclusion.
If you haven't given Upward Sports a try, give it a go. The games are well-organized and family-friendly with concessions and game day excitement. Fair playing time allows for even the youngest and inexperienced players to get in on the action!
