All of you dance-crazed families, mark your calendars for the free Ballet Under the Stars event at Hartwood Acres Middle Road Amphitheater in Allison Park, Pa. presented by Artistic Director Terrence S. Orr and the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre (PBT) on August 19.
This beautiful outdoor PBT performance will begin at 7:30 p.m. as your family relaxes under the stars and the dancers perform a selection of showpieces from the PBT repertoire. Dancing along is highly encouraged!
Free family fun precedes the show from 5-7 p.m. with children’s festivities and dance activities, photo opportunities with costumed ballet dancers and more. Enjoy food trucks and free kids stations, including craft activities and balloon animals.
For even more interaction with the PBT dancers and artistic leaders, consider Picnic in the Park from 5-7 p.m. It’s a VIP tent pre-show with dinner and wine selections by DiAnoia’s Eatery.
