Kid-friendly festival fun all day! There is so much for the kids to enjoy at the Dean Martin Steubenville Hometown Celebration on Saturday, June 16.
From trolley ride tours to a petting zoo, there is something for everyone to enjoy – not to mention the great sounds of our local legend Dean Martin.
Great entertainment for the kids includes Kurt James Fun N Games, KidZone, Mini Train Rides, Trolley Rides/Tours, Amazing Nick’s Balloons, Face Painting, Petting Zoo and more.
The day begins at 8 a.m. with the opening of Leonardo’s Coffeehouse showing Dean Martin movie clips, along with several other store openings including Drosselmeyer’s Nutcracker Shoppe and the Steubenville Popcorn Co. The Dino Dash 5K/ Martin Meander begins at 9 a.m. with registration beginning at 7 a.m. at the Steubenville City Building. Adults can participate for $18 and $10 for youth.
The event schedule is full of options for historical tours of museums and churches, craft vendors on North 4thStreet and of course live entertainment from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
New this year is a Dean Martin Traveling Museum. Enjoy this one-day exhibition of hundreds of Dean Martin items and memorabilia. The traveling museum will be on display in the Chase Bank Lobby at the corner of North Fourth and Market Streets from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m.
